Windows 11 is the latest operating system launched by Microsoft, it is released on 5 october 2021 ,there are many new features upgraded from windows 10.
I recently installed windows 11 to my PC from a bootable pendrive for free, here i am gonna share my experience that how I completed the process to create bootable windows 11 USB drive and what differences i have noticed in between both windows 10,11
How to download Windows 11
Step 1
To download and create bootable drive for windows 11 you need a pendrive of minimum of 8GB storage ,
Go to microsoft’s official site and select the download file and hit the download button.

After that select ‘64-bit Download’ Button and your download will start and the link will be active for 24 Hours

Now you have everything to create a bootable drive: the windows 11 ISO and a Thumb Drive .
Step 2 : Download Utility software ‘Rufus’.
Now we are in the stage to create a bootable drive , for that you need to download a software called Rufus , just download the latest version

Step 3 Insert the USB Drive
Now you need to insert the USB thumb drive to the PC which you want to create a bootable drive.
Now open the software from the download section ‘Click Run as Administrator’ then a window will pop-up like this.
Step 4 Rufus Settings
The user interface of Rufus is very simple , first you select the device that is your pen drive, generally it detects automatically but if not, do it manually.

Then the main part comes in the setting up of rufus that is selecting the partition scheme , you check it very easily that your PC is running on GPT or MBR scheme ,for that just open the ‘Disk Management’ wizard from control panel

Simply ‘Right Click’ on the drive where you want to install the windows 11 and select the Properties option , a pop up window will appear then go to ‘Volumes’ ,here you can see the current partition scheme of your PC

Now get back to Rufus, and select the Partition scheme , In my case it is GPT , and select the ‘File System’ as NTFS

Just hit the start button, your bootable drive will be ready within a few minutes .
Is it worth Upgrading to Windows 11 ?
